Whip an Orange Cake in a jiffy!

I love oranges, its smell, its tastes and its zest. If you love oranges too, than this cake is for you. It is super easy and quick.

  • Ingredients
  • All purpose flour – 1 cup
  • Powdered Sugar – 1/2 cup
  • Baking soda – 1/2 tsp
  • Salt – 1 pinch
  • Oil – 1/4 cup
  • Orange Juice – 1/2 cup
  • Milk – 1/2 cup
  • Orange zest – 1 tbsp
  • Orange juice – 1/4 cup
  • Powdered Sugar – 1/2 cup
  • Orange food colour – a pinch
  • Orange zest – 1 tsp
  • Process

Orange cake

  • Sieve together flour, powdered sugar, baking soda and salt
  • In an another bowl, mix together milk, oil, and orange Juice
  • Add orange zest
  • Fold the dry and liquid ingredients together
  • Pour the batter in the cake mould
  • Bake the cake at 170 degrees for 25 – 30 mins

Orange Glaze

  • Mix orange juice, powdered sugar, orange zest and food colour to make the orange drizzle

Drizzle the orange glaze on the cake and serve.
